My princess Heidi…I miss you every day. Your aunt, grandma, grandpa, and your brother, Tori, miss you too. Life is not fair..

You were one of Snoopy & Lucky’s firstborn, and as soon as you were able to walk and see, you jumped onto me and never let me go. I knew that moment that you’re my number one princess in this whole wide world. We were always together, slept together, played together, ate together, always looking and sniffing under the restroom doors whenever I’m showering or using the restroom to make sure I’m around. I truly love you, Heidi. You were always in front of the door waiting for me to come home from work or anything. People say dogs are pets and can be replaced and whatnot – no, that is not true. Heidi, you’ll always be my princess, my daughter, forever and ever. Your little brother looks for you every evening, and that still hurts me a lot. When you get a chance, please see him in his dream and let him know that you’re still around in our hearts.

I am still grieving and crying every morning, afternoon, and night. Even on that last day, in the morning, you showed me that you were fine, showing me signs of improvement and of course – being pretty and cute as usual. You waited until I left to work, and I know that’s what you wanted, but I wish I were there until the very end. You think of me to make sure I don’t feel sadness even until the end – I love you so much, Heidi….I would never expect this would happen…I figured you’d live past 20 years or more…it just happened all of a sudden…I wish I could’ve done anything better beforehand…I feel like I failed you, Heidi…I am truly sorry…

You’ll always be with me – in my mind, in my heart, in my thoughts – every single day. Eventually, when I leave the earth, we will be together forever…meanwhile, please wait for me with your father, mother, brothers, and sisters. I love you forever, my number one princess Heidi. See you again someday…

Meanwhile, I will work extremely hard and be successful for you. Please watch me and guide me, my love.
